CIE Makes Its Independent Membrane Deamination Process Apply in The Field of Wastewater Treatment of Activated Carbon Acid
As of December 19th, 2019, after CIE passed its feature assessment and shifted its gaseous membrane treatment in June 2019, the EPC project of wastewater from acid production by ultra high concentration ammonia nitrogen activated carbon of Zhanjiang Iron and Steel in EP mode has operated for half a year, which waste water and ammonia nitrogen removal rate is up to 99% with stable water.
The project adopting the process of "step-by-step co-pre-treatment and membrane deamination” independently researched by CIE comes out first in the whole world, which has solved the world problem to treat acid wastewater purified from activated carbon flue gas, has thoroughly broken the whole process of purifying activated carbon flue gas, and has unlocked a new mileage on treating high-salt, ultra-high concentration ammonia nitrogen industrial wastewater with membrane deamination process.
After successful operation, the project has annually saved about 10 million yuan of replacement costs due to corrosion of equipment，reduced about 500 tons of ammonia nitrogen emissions, produced approximately 1700 tons of ammonium sulfate products generating 15% mass fraction, and realized significant economic and social benefits of "trash to treasure". In addition, based on the successful practice of the process, the technology has been extended into No.3 sintering of Zhanjiang Steel, the activated carbon acid wastewater treatment projects of Hanzhong Steel and other enterprises.
