It was on January 14th that a new EP contract on the project of Russian sintered flue gas purification complex was signed by CIE and WEST-SIBERIAN IRON-AND-STEEL WORKS of Evraz. It is the first EPC project in EP mode of CIE in Russian market, and it is the first overseas project of CIE in the field of steel and environmental protection.

It was in the end of 2016 that a relationship was established by and between CIE and WEST-SIBERIAN IRON-AND-STEEL WORKS. After submitting the technical business tender for the project in September 2018 followed by several rounds of clarification exchanges, a winning letter was received in August 2019 based on reliable technical programs and abundant project management experience among four competitors.

As the pre-iron "national team" of metallurgical construction equipped with complete and rich pre-iron process solutions, CIE leads the field of global sintered flue gas purification. Signing the project is the sign of CIE opening new markets and new areas under the "Belt and Road" Initiative.
