On Sep 20, the “integrated sintering control expert system” developed independently by CIE and completed with the joint effort of Shaosteel successfully passed the appraisal for scientific and technological achievements organized by the scientific and technological department of Hunan.

The appraisal opinion is as follows: The system is advanced in design idea with high applicability and reliable operation, the Users’ application shows that the system effectively solves such problems as long process flow, large time delay and indefinite raw material etc. which have influenced the sintering production process for a long time. The system can guarantee stability of sinter composition, optimize physical performance of sinter, improve sinter output, save energy and reduce emissions, the economic benefits are remarkable and the integral technology reaches the international advanced level.
