On April 16, the kick-off meeting for the 4,000 kt/a Oxidized Pellet Processing Project of Qingdao Bangtuo New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (Ore Dressing Project) (hereinafter referred to as "Qingdao Bangtuo Ore Dressing Project") undertaken by CIE as the General Contractor was held in Dongjiakou Port Area, Qingdao.

The Project has a processing capacity of 5,000 kt/a for imported iron ore. The main production facilities include raw material shed, main workshop, cleaner tailing concentration tank, tailing filter pressing room, and finished product surge bin. It is a key project invested by Jianbang Group for "going global", and also another large-scale project of CIE for deep processing of imported iron ore after projects such as the Pellet Grinding Unit EPC Project of Zenith Steel Group Company Limited, Imported Iron Ore EP Project of Lianyungang Yaxu, Grinding and Classification System and Filtration System Renovation EP Project of Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., and Iron Ore Processing EP Project of Lianyungang Hengxintong Mining Co., Ltd. The Project further strengthened the leading position of CIE in the pre-ironmaking market and deep processing market of imported iron ore.
