CIE "Energy-efficient and durable double-chamber shaft lime kiln and control technology" was selected into the National Recommended Catalogue of Industrial Energy-saving Technology and Equipment (2020)

On the morning of April 8, "National Industrial Energy-saving Technology and Equipment Promotion Meeting" organized by PRC Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was held in Deyang, Sichuan. "Energy-efficient and durable double-chamber shaft lime kiln and control technology" independently developed by CIE was selected into the National Recommended Catalogue of Industrial Energy-saving Technology and Equipment (2020).

 

With parallel calcination and heat storage heat exchange system, double-chamber shaft lime kiln uses high-temperature exhaust gas from the calcination chamber to preheat the material in the storage chamber and reduce the temperature of lime kiln exhaust to below 120℃. Through a series of key technical breakthroughs such as compound air pump, precise heating, allocation and discharge of raw materials, etc., the CIE lime kiln project team has developed the 2.0 lime kiln product - energy-efficient and durable double-chamber shaft lime kiln and control technology, achieving an energy-saving effect of a 30% increase in waste heat recovery rate of flue gas and the unit heat consumption of lime products as low as 96.07 kg of standard coal/ton. The overall technology has reached the first-class level in China, and the energy consumption of the product is about 35% lower than the average energy consumption in the industry.

 

In addition to saving energy, the 2.0 lime kiln adopts the independently developed self-locking structure annular channel technology, using co-efficient of friction to tightly connect the masonry bricks in the upper and lower layers or the same layer, effectively strengthening the structural strength of annular channel where a breakup is easy to be seen, which realizes the technical breakthrough of the durability of lime kilns.
