On August 31, the Nonferrous Metals Society of China organized an evaluation conference on scientific and technological achievements in Changsha to evaluate the achievement of "Key Technologies and Equipment for the Synergetic Resource-based Utilization of Multi-Metal High-Salt Solid/Liquid Waste" led by CIE. In the conference, the evaluation concluded that the overall technology adopted in this achievement has reached the international leading level.

This technological achievement has been successfully applied and promoted in multiple steel companies, including Anyang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and Anhui Changjiang Steel Co., Ltd. This achievement, with a promising market outlook, has contributed to realizing the goal of "zero discharge of solid waste from the factory, and zero discharge of wastewater", leading to significant economic, environmental, and social benefits. The achievement has been granted 1 foreign authorized invention patent and 12 domestic invention patents, and approved for 1 group standard project.
