On June 22, CIE and Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. ("WISCO") signed two waste heat power generation projects for new 1# and 3# sintering machines. Before this, they signed two activated carbon flue gas purification projects for new 1# and 3# sintering machines.

The project group includes two sets of flue gas purification and waste heat power generation facilities, of which the flue gas purification facilities will adopt the activated carbon desulfurization + low-temperature SCR denitration technology independently developed by CIE, which has the advantages of stable operation, low operation cost, high desulfurization and denitration efficiency, and resource utilization of by-products. The waste heat power generation facilities will adopt the direct-connected hood-type waste heat boiler technology independently developed by CIE, which can effectively reduce the energy consumption of the system, improve the energy utilization efficiency, and increase the overall power generation by more than 10%.
