On January 22, the Phase II Sintering and Supporting Desulfurization and Denitration Project of Hebei Yong Yang Special Steel Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yong Yang Special Steel") generally contracted by CIE was successfully put into operation, marking a further step of Yong Yang Special Steel towards the goal of energy conservation, emission reduction and capacity upgrading and transformation.

This project is equipped with advanced technologies independently developed by CIE, such as deep-bed sintering, flue gas recirculation, waste heat power generation and multi-pollutant flue gas purification with active carbon, as well as self-developed flexible transmission device, liquid seal ring cooler and other advanced equipment. After the project is put into production, the annual output of sinter is nearly 3 million tons. The contents of nitrogen oxides, dust, dioxin and sulfur dioxide in sintering flue gas meet the national ultra-low emission standards.
