Recently, the Cancer Hospital Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (Langfang Center) (Phase 1.1) generally contracted by CIE was put into trial operation, marking another important milestone of CIE in the development of healthcare industry.

This project is the first listed project in China to further promote the "Healthy China Initiative" and push forward the pilot construction of regional medical centers. It is also an important landmark project to implement the strategy of "Coordinated Development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region" and shift the non-capital functions from Beijing, aiming to build a regional cancer diagnosis and treatment center in Hebei and the largest cancer diagnosis and treatment research innovation center in North China according to the standards of international first-class and domestic landmark cancer hospitals. A total of 2600 beds are planned, including 1000 built in the first phase. There are 18 clinical medical technical departments and 12 administrative departments.

Since the construction of the project, CIE's Project Management Team has scientifically planned and carefully organized to build an excellent project. With quality improvement, safety standardization, scientific research breakthroughs and technological innovation as the starting point, it has actively carried out scientific research cooperation with universities by utilizing BIM+AR technology, 3D laser point cloud scanning, smart construction site and other innovative project management technologies to overcome technological problems, promote efficient construction of the project, and continuously enhance the brand of "Changtian". With the joint efforts of the project owner and all participants, the project was awarded the 2021 HSE-compliant and Standardized Construction Site in Hebei Province, the 2021 High-quality Structural Project in Hebei Province, and the second prize in the 2021 BIM Technology Application Competition of MCC.
