Recently, another large-scale overseas EPC project (contracted by CIE) — Phase I 2×360㎡ SCR Denitration Project of Sintering Flue Gas for Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Integrated Complex passed the 72-hour performance test and was issued with the Final Acceptance Certificate by the Owner.

On the basis of wet flue gas desulfurization (WFGD), WESP, MGGH, flue gas condensation and SCR denitration are applied for deep purification of sintering flue gas in this project. After the project is put into operation, all technical indicators of the project reach world-class level and it helps solve the problems of excessive white steam, nitrogen oxides, dioxins and dust in sintering flue gas after desulfurization. The flue gas treatment capacity reaches 2.6 million Nm³/h, and the emission concentrations of nitrogen oxides and dust in sintering flue gas after treatment are lower than 25mg/Nm³ and 15mg/Nm³ respectively, making positive contributions to the environment quality, energy conservation and emission reduction of the sintering system of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Integrated Complex in Vietnam.
