On November 17, the 240 m2 sintering works for the 2.6 mt/a transformation and upgrade steel project for Yun Nan Cheng Gang Group (hereinafter referred to as "Cheng Gang") under the general contracting of CIE (hereinafter referred to as "Cheng Gang Sintering Project") has achieved the successful hot test run at one time and produced qualified sinters, becoming the first project put into operation for Cheng Gang's transformation and upgrade this time, with all indexes meeting the design requirements.

The successful launch of the project helps Cheng Gang achieve the goal of "higher production and less pollution" and contributes greatly to Cheng Gang's vision of building AAA industrial tourist attractions and creating a modern green steel city with blue sky, green land, clean water, beautiful scenery, and harmonious society. The project further expands CIE's market influence and competitiveness in southwest China
