On August 24, CIE signed an EPC contract with Jishan Mingfu Steel Products Co. LTD. (hereinafter referred to as “Mingfu Steel”) on 220m2 sintering flue gas circulation project.

For this project, the outside flue gas circulation process independently developed by CIE will be adopted to return part of sintering flue gas after pumping to the flue gas hood, which will be recycled as sintering air. At the same time, in order to realize balanced air volume in the sintering bed and stable oxygen content and temperature, a part of ring cold and hot waste gas is mixed in the sintering flue gas for circulation.

Over the years, in order to make a contribution to reducing emission of iron and steel industry and thoroughly solving the problem of environmental pollution by sintering flue gas, CIE has independently developed outside and inside sintering flue gas circulation technology, gas mixer, gas distributor, flue gas current stabilizer and other key equipment for sintering flue gas circulation, and compiled the Sintering Flue Gas Circulation Standard. At present, the technology and equipment have been successfully applied by Baosteel, Yangang Steel, Tangshan Guofeng, Quzhou Yuanli and other iron and steel enterprises.
