On Oct 28, the “Technology alliance of China (Changsha) waste gas desulfurization industry”, sponsored and organized jointly by CIE, Central South University and Hunan University, with CIE as the president unit, participated by 14 related universities and colleges and key enterprises of desulfurization industry, was officially established.

With complementary advantages,cooperation and innovations of all members, the alliance will build up a common technology platform to tackle technical bottlenecks in domestic flue gas desulfurization industry, jointly promote, enrich, perfect and improve the technical standards of flue gas desulfurization, and promote the development, popularization and application of flue gas desulfurization at home and abroad.
