CIE has recently signed a design contract with Zhuzhou Circular Economy Investment evelopment Co., Ltd for “comprehensive treatment project of heavy metal waste in Qingshuitang industrial area of Zhuzhou city.

The project site is in Shifeng area of Zhuzhou city, and the construction contents include Qingxia Xinqiao waste landfill area, Dahu waste landfill area and waste landfill area to the north side of sewerage treatment plant. The waste treatment area is about 143,000 square meters and waste slag amount is about 1,639,200 cubic meters. The industrial solid wastes which have been left over, landfilled unorderly and discarded for 60 years in Qingshuitang industrial area, the industrial solid waste stockyard, landfill area and waste yard will all be treated comprehensively in this project. After the project is completed, the heavy metal discharged into Xiang River, and that which seeps through underground water and soil will be cut down, at the same time by soil improvement in the pollution area, the composite plant community ecology system will be established, and the vegetation and ecology landscape in the pollution area will be rehabilitated.

In the project, CIE is responsible for design of waste slag excavation, pretreatment of waste slag, waste landfill and temporary office area and living area and design of such related public and auxiliary facilities as general arrangement and transportation, hydrotechnics,  water supply and drainage, power supply and distribution, architecture and structure facilities etc.
