It was on January 8, 2018 that a solemn conference related to National Science & Technology Progress Award was held by the Central Committee of CPC and the State Council of CPC at the Great Hall of the People, where Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Zhang Gaoli, Wang Huning and other Chinese party and state leaders presented the conference and awarded prizes to the winner representatives. Led by CIE and declared by Baoshan Iron & Steel Co. Ltd., Central South University and Baogang Group, the Project “R&D and Application of Energyefficient and Environmentally Friendly Sintering Technology and Equipment” won the National Science & Technology Progress Award (Second Class). The Project has made great contribution to driving China green steel metallurgy technology and equipment into the world based on its energyefficient and environmentally friendly sintering technology and equipment and its international leading level of its whole technology.
