Recently, Hunan Changtian Automation, a subsidiary of CIE, signed a contract for the High-Purity Graphite (Phase I) Project of Heilongjiang Carbon Source Materials Co., Ltd., with the main scope of the project covering the supply of complete sets of equipment for low voltage, instrumentation, and automation systems, as well as the installation and commissioning of the integrated systems. This project is another business achievement for Hunan Changtian Automation in the graphite industry in Heilongjiang, following the signing of the China Minmetals Luobei Yunshan Graphite Spherical Processing Project, which is an integral part of the High-purity Graphite Project, Clean Energy Microgrids and other supporting engineering projects of China Minmetals.

Those supporting engineering projects, including the High-purity Graphite Project and Clean Energy Microgrids, are among the first batch of projects implemented in the Hegang Graphite High-quality Utilization Industrial Park, and are also key projects implemented by the People's Government of Hegang City and China Minmetals to fulfill the requirements of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Government of Heilongjiang to build a 100 billion-level graphite industry and to focus on cutting-edge technologies and promising industries in order to drive high-quality development.
