CIE Wins Another Two First Prizes in the MCC BIM Competition!

Recently, the 2023 BIM Technology Application Competition organized by MCC concluded successfully. In this competition, CIE achieved excellent results, winning two first prizes. CIE's BIM Digital and Intelligent Design for the Whole Process of Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Improvement and Reconstruction Project of No.1 and No.4 Sinter Plants of WISCO and BIM Digital and Intelligent Innovation Application for KISC Comprehensive Raw Material Yard Project won the first prize in the design application group and innovation application group, respectively.

 

In the BIM Digital and Intelligent Design for the Whole Process of Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Improvement and Reconstruction Project of No.1 and No.4 Sinter Plants of WISCO, CIE showcased the whole-process, all-discipline, and all-subitem BIM forward design, which was implemented throughout the whole design cycle to improve the design quality and reduce the additional engineering costs caused by design changes. Additionally, oblique photography was employed to accomplish the pipeline design for the old plant area, achieving pipeline integration on a compact site and effectively saving the pipeline design time. The integration of independently developed intelligent design software with forward design has created a favorable digital design environment for designers. The "data-centric, model-based" digital application approach and the digital delivery of design outcomes have injected powerful momentum into the digital construction of the project.

 

 

In the BIM Digital and Intelligent Innovation Application for KISC Comprehensive Raw Material Yard Project, CIE combined BIM technology with digital technologies such as laser scanning, imaging, AI modeling, intelligent control modules, IoT, mobile internet, 5G, and simulation analysis. These technologies were comprehensively applied in projects, further enhancing the digital twin system of the material yard. Additionally, the BIM digital and intelligent material yard platform can help to effectively address issues such as high electricity consumption, low efficiency in stock line selection, and lack of accuracy in the material yard.
