Promote the Ultra-low Emission Transformation of Guangdong Zhongnan Steel Co., Ltd.! Two Projects Under the General Contracting of CIE Commenced

On April 12, the commencement ceremony was held for the environmental protection reconstruction projects of No.2 and No.3 receiving tanks of ironmaking plant and material conveying system of raw material area of Guangdong Zhongnan Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongnan Steel") under the general contracting of CIE.

 

 

The raw material yard of Zhongnan Steel Ironmaking Plant was built in the 1970s and has undergone overhaul and reconstruction in 2000, 2004 and 2009. With the increasing requirements for national security and environmental protection, in order to meet the ultra-low emission requirements of the steel industry, it is necessary to carry out environmental protection reconstruction on the raw material area of Zhongnan Steel Ironmaking Plant.

 

The two projects undertaken by CIE are important projects in Zhongnan Steel's environmental protection reconstruction efforts. Among them, the environmental protection reconstruction project of receiving tanks mainly involves closed reconstruction of No.2 and No.3 receiving tanks and dust suppression measures; the environmental protection reconstruction project of material conveying system mainly involves closed reconstruction of belt conveyor corridor and transfer station of input and conveying systems of the raw material yard, and the installation of dust removal and dust suppression equipment according to ultra-low emission requirements, so as to improve the production environment of the raw material area, reduce pollution and achieve the goal of ultra-low emission.
