On the afternoon of December 31, the Hazardous Waste Incineration Project of DJE in Jieyang Dananhai Petrochemical Industrial Park undertaken by CIEE (a subsidiary of CIE) as the General Contractor was successfully launched for a test run.

The Hazardous Waste Incineration Project, located in Jieyang Dananhai Petrochemical Industrial Park, Guangdong Province, is a key national energy strategic security project, a major supporting environmental project for the Guangdong Petrochemical & Refining-Chemical Integrated Project, and a key project of the three-year action plan for solid waste pollution containment in Guangdong Province.

The project adopts an advanced rotary kiln incineration and disposal process. Once put into operation, the project can collect and treat up to 30,000 tons of hazardous waste per year. After incineration and disposal, the flue gas indicators of pollutants satisfy or excel the requirements of the Pollution Control Standard for Hazardous Wastes Incineration (GB18484-2020), which can effectively solve the difficulty of treating industrial solid waste in Jieyang Dananhai Petrochemical Industrial Park and eastern Guangdong Province, greatly improving the regional environmental governance capacity.
