On June 8, CIEE, a subsidiary of CIE, won the bid for the EPC of Solid Waste Disposal Center Safety Landfill Site Project (Phase III) in Jiangxi Province. This was another in-depth cooperation between CIEE and DJE (Dongjiang Environment) following the hazardous waste disposal project in Jieyang and industrial solid waste disposal project in Mianyang.

In Phase I and Phase II, the storage areas of the project were designed and constructed according to the Standard for Pollution Control on the Hazardous Waste Landfill (GB 18598-2001), while in Phase III, the Standard for Pollution Control on the Hazardous Waste Landfill (GB 18598-2019) was followed. Two standards were adopted for the design and construction in different zones at the same landfill site, which has created a precedent for the safety landfill site project of hazardous waste in China.
