On May 26, the furnace of the Hazardous Waste Incineration Project of Jieyang Dongjiang Environmental Company Limited in Jieyang Dananhai Petrochemical Industrial Park undertaken by CIEE (a subsidiary of CIE) as the General Contractor is successfully ignited for a hot test run. The Project is about to be officially put into operation.

The Hazardous Waste Incineration Project in Jieyang Dananhai Petrochemical Industrial Park is a key national energy strategic security project, the main supporting environmental protection project of Guangdong Petrochemical Refining-Chemical Integration Project, and a key project of the three-year action plan for solid waste pollution prevention and control in Guangdong Province.

In this project, an advanced rotary kiln incineration disposal process is adopted to dispose of 30 kt of hazardous wastes per year. The flue gas indicators of various pollutants after incineration disposal meet the requirements in the Standard for Pollution Control on Hazardous Waste Incineration (GB18484-2020). After the Project is officially put into production, it will effectively solve the problems of industrial solid waste treatment and disposal in Jieyang Dananhai Petrochemical Industrial Park and Guangdong Province, and greatly improve the regional environmental treatment capacity.
