On March 23, the No.5 sintering machine renovation works of the Main Body Project of In-situ Overhaul and Upgrading of No. 5 and No. 6 Sintering Machines in the Ironmaking Plant of SGIS Songshan Co., Ltd. with CIE as the general contractor (Renovation Project of No. 5 and No. 6 Sintering Machines of SGIS Songshan Co., Ltd.) has achieved successful hot-load test run at one time, and all equipment operated normally. It marks that the No. 5 sintering area officially enters the trial production stage. Before that, No.6 sintering machine renovation works has been put into production on January 13 this year and reached the design capacity. At this point, the Renovation Project of No. 5 and No. 6 Sintering Machines of SGIS Songshan Co., Ltd. was put into full operation.

New energy-saving and emission reduction technologies such as the new liquid seal ring cooler and vertical strong mixer independently developed by CIE are adopted for the Renovation Projection of No. 5 Sintering Machine, which can fully meet the requirements of the new No. 5 sintering system of SGIS Songshan Co., Ltd. to reach the national environmental protection renovation standard, and help SGIS Songshan Co., Ltd. in building the most competitive pre-ironmaking production and R&D base and the industrial chain extension and deep processing base in China. After being put into production, the renovation project of No. 5 and No. 6 sintering machines will also contribute to the implementation of "peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality" and the realization" of the development strategy of "green, intelligent and quality".
