Recently, the construction of the Transformation and Upgrading Project for Phase II (Expansion) of Smelting Equipment Production Base and Park Environment Improvement of CIE Science and Technology Industrial Park (Transformation Project of Phase II Base and Park Environment Improvement) was completed, which is a "new business card" of CIE, brightening its golden brand of "national leader" in green and intelligent development of the service industry.

The total floor area of Phase II Base is about 24,000 m2. The base mainly provides high-quality equipment for sintering, pelletizing and other processes of metallurgical pre-ironmaking, supplies the products manufactured to major steel mills in China such as Baosteel, Baosteel(Zhanjiang), WISCO and Anyang Iron & Steel, and boosts the industry to achieve intelligent, green, low-carbon and high-efficiency development. The base has doubled its self-production capacity by adding 12.5 kt/a to Phase I Base, reaching a total self-production capacity of about 25 kt/a.

The Transformation and Upgrading Project for Phase II Base and Park Environment Improvement is an important action for CIE to promote the implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan". After the project is completed, it will provide strong support for the realization of CIE's business objectives and play a crucial role in consolidating and improving the brand image of CIE and promoting the development and upgrading of the manufacturing business.
