CIE participated in the 19th China International Environmental Protection Exhibition & Conference
Recently, the 19th China International Environmental Protection Exhibition & Conference (CIEPEC) dropped the curtain at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. As the main unit that accomplished the Key Technologies of Efficient and Synergistic Control of Industrial Flue Gas Multi-Pollutants and Their Applications that won the special award of Environmental Technology Progress Award in 2019, CIE made a wonderful appearance on the stage of this international environmental protection exhibition and conference.
During CIEPEC, CIE comprehensively demonstrated the overall technical solution of synergistic and efficient purification and resource utilization of sintering flue gas multi-pollutants independently developed by it from multiple dimensions by means of exhibition panels, brochures, 3D models and technical promotion speeches. Particularly, CIE introduced the advanced activated carbon based flue gas purification system and its application in multiple industries. CIE started the research and development of this technical solution in 2008, and finally presented it after nearly ten years of research and development, from laboratory research, small-scale test in XISC to pilot-scale test in Baosteel. In 2016, Baosteel Three-Sintering Overhaul and Transformation Project, a super-large energy-saving and environment-friendly sintering project of Baosteel, designed and supplied by CIE with a complete set of equipment, was officially put into production, marking the first industrial application of CIE's overall technology of synergistic and efficient purification and resource utilization of sintering flue gas multi-pollutants. The Project has been operating stably and reliably since it was put into operation, achieving the ultra-low emission standards of SO2<10mg/Nm3, NOx<50mg/Nm3 and dust<10mg/Nm3.
The overall technology of synergistic and efficient purification and resource utilization of sintering flue gas multi-pollutants has successfully solved the problems of low efficiency of synergistic removal of multi-pollutants, poor system safety and stability, and difficulty in resource utilization of SO2, realizing the ultra-low emission of sintering flue gas multi-pollutants and resource utilization of by-products, and providing strong technical support for the development of green steel in China. Now, this technology has been promoted to Baosteel, WISCO, Anyang Iron and Steel Group and other large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China, realizing more than 20 sets of industrial applications.
