The Special Train for Transporting Equipment of CIE's Sintering Reconstruction Project in Tulachermet, Russia Departed!
On September 7, accompanied by the whistling, the special train fully loaded with the equipment of the Russia Tulachermet Sintering Reconstruction Project of CIE departed from Changsha North Station and headed to Tula, Russia. This is the first special train dispatched by CIE through China-Europe Railway Express (Changsha).
Tulachermet is one of the largest pig iron exporters and coke suppliers in the CIS region and is a subsidiary of IMH Group of Russia. It mainly produces pig iron for electric furnace steelmaking and casting and its products are sold all over the world, with major customers from the United States, Turkey and Europe. Since 2018, CIE has established a cooperative partnership with Tulachermet and has followed up with the project since its establishment so as to continuously optimize the reconstruction plan by sending competent technicians to the site for investigation and exchange and inviting the Owner for field investigation. During the COVID-19 epidemic, both parties overcome many difficulties and kept communicating with each other online on the details and needs of the project site. Finally, CIE won the EP contract of the project by virtue of its quality scheme and competitive price.
Currently, CIE's project team is energetically accelerating the manufacture of remaining equipment, aims to complete the shipment of all equipment as soon as possible, and hand over a satisfactory project to the Owner, so as to lay a solid foundation for further exploring the Russian metallurgical market with the guidance of "the Belt and Road Initiative"!
