On June 30, the main works of the 1.1 phase of the Project to Build a Langfang Branch of Cancer Hospital Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (hereinafter referred to as Langfang Hospital) generally undertaken by CIE have been fully capped, which means that the project has entered a new stage.

The project of Langfang Hospital is an important livelihood project that propels the implementation of the strategy to promote the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and shifts the non-capital functions from Beijing. The covered area totals around 593,800 square meters, with a construction scale of 2,600 beds. The Langfang Hospital will become a domestic and foreign center for cancer clinical research and instructions and a regional medical center of the national level when it is finished. The covered area of the 1.1 phase project totals around 136.2 thousand square meters, with a construction scale of 1,000 beds. It will mainly serve as a medical center for proton radiotherapy, chemotherapy, special medical care, and early cancer screening.
