On June 29, the 265m² sintering project of Henan Angang Zhoukou Iron and Steel Group (hereinafter referred to as Angang Zhoukou Steel), with CIE as the General Contractor, was successfully tested with thermal load and put into production.

The Project has adopted advanced technologies of energy-saving, consumption reduction, and intelligent automation, while the main technical, economic, energy consumption, and emission indexes reach the advanced level among similar sintering plants in China. After the project fully starts, it is projected that the annual high-quality sinter totals 2.87 million tons.

It's another landmark of the world-class green sintering project of CIE and laid a solid foundation for CIE's further cooperation with Angang Zhoukou Steel and expansion in the Henan steel market.
