It was on March 26th that the project EPC contract of the second phase of sinterer machine head and flue gas deep governance was signed by CIE and ANYANG IRON& STEEL INC. (hereinafter referred to as AN GANG). The new second phase of 1#, 2# and 3# sinter machine head flue gas will fully meet the latest national emission standards and will achieve near zero emissions under the condition of 16% baseline oxygen content.

The second phase of AN GANG sintered flue gas deep governance has adopted the activated carbon flue gas purification technology independently developed by CIE, the most advanced technology in the field of sintered flue gas purification, which can remove sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, dioxins, heavy metals, dust and other pollutants at the same time, and which has been applied in so many projects of Baosteel Zhanjiang, Baosteel Headquarters, Yongyang Steel and Jinnan Steel.

After the completion of the project, the concentration of sulfur dioxide emissions in sintered flue gas will be less than 20 mg per standard cubic meter, the concentration of nitrogen oxide emission will be less than 40 mg per standard cubic meter, and the concentration of particulate emission will be less than 10 mg per standard cubic meter.
