It was on August 25 that ASSB sent a letter to praise CIE for the MCKIP Sintering EP Project in Malaysia of 2*180 square meters for 3.5 million ton of iron and steel joint enterprise designed by CIE.

In the letter, ASSB was quite satisfied with CIE’s performance at the MCKIP Sintering project in Malaysia of 2*180 square meters for 3.5 million ton of iron and steel joint enterprise designed by CIE. Therefore, CIE was highly recognized by its owners and relevant parties.

The MCKIP Sintering project in Malaysia for 3.5 million ton of iron and steel project is the first project since the industrial park has been opened, which total investment is approximately US$1.4 billion covering an area of 710 acres. The project uses steel production process in its whole process with the main production of rods, wires, profile steel and the annual output of 3.5 million tons. The project started in November 2016 and put into operation in May 2018, which lasted only 18 months, creating the fastest miracle on constructing all-process steel joint enterprise in overseas.

Over the past three years, CIE’s sintering project department and Hunan Tianhe ASSB project department have completed  the quality and quantity of various node objectives, establishing a good reputation and having laid a solid foundation for further cooperation with ASSB.
