It was on June 17 that the Sintering Project of Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel No.3 Blast Furnace System Project made a complete entry, which was designed by CIE with critical equipment supply services. 

A new 550㎡ sintering machine will be built designing to produce 6.13 million ton of sintering ore per year. CIE was mainly responsible for sintering main system, flue gas purification system, waste heat power generation system and the corresponding supporting facilities design and main equipment supply. The project used a range of advanced technology and equipment, that is, new energy-saving and environmental protection technologies and equipment, using activated carbon flue gas multi-pollutant co-control technology 

for desulfurization, SCR denitrification, liquid sealing ring coolers. It also made further optimization to the design, construction and texture of key equipment such as sintering machine and ring cooler to ensure stable and smooth production. Besides, it explored intelligent manufacturing technology to make sintering production processes intelligent, and made the output, quality, energy consumption, labor efficiency and other indicators significantly better. 

The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in May 2021.
