MCKIP’s steel project of 3.5 million ton was the first entry project since the park was opened in 2012. It totally invested about 1.4 billion dollars covering an area of 710 acres, which used a full-process steel production process, and which main production focused on bars, wires, steel with an annual output of 3.5 million ton. The project took only 18 months from finishing production of the full-process production line in May 2018 from starting work in November 2016, the fastest miracle created by the overseas joint venture of all-process steel. 

It was in the morning on June 15 that the full completion and commissioning ceremony on  MCKIP’s steel project of 3.5 million ton was held at the Executive Building of Alliance Steel (M) Sdn. Bhd., which sintering production line design and complete equipment supply was charged by CIE and which full-process project management was charged by Hunan Hetian, one of subsidiaries of CIE.  

It was at the same night that Alliance Steel (M) Sdn. Bhd. held a thanks dinner to recognize the outstanding participating units and individuals. During the dinner, CIE and Hunan Hetian, based on their excellent performance, were named as "Best Equipment Complete Supplier", "Best Project Management Company" (sole) respectively, while Liu Juexian won the honorary title of the "Best Project Manager" 

It was on 16-17, June that Yi Shuguang and his team visited Lin Chuanyuan, General Manager of Alliance Steel (M) Sdn. Bhd.Lin Chuanyuan, General Manager of Alliance Steel (M) Sdn. Bhd., fully affirmed the contribution of CIE Sintering Project Department and Hunan Hetian ASSB Project Department during the project progress process. After that both sides expressed both strong desire to deepen the cooperation and discussed the subsequent related projects.
