On Dec 21, the Beitai plant 400m? sintering project of the Bensteel Group undertaken by CIE was smoothly put into production. The project is the key technical modification project for “the 12th fiveyear” plan of Bensteel Beitai plant area, and it is the important action implemented in Bensteel to upgrade and reconstruct technical equipment of ironmaking process and obsolete the backward productivity gradually.

 

From project commencement and construction up to the present, the whole staff of project department of CIE has overcome such difficulties as demolition frustration, local low winter temperature and reconstruction of proportioning room in project implementation process, the thermal load test run of the project was successful for one time according to overall planning and arrangement of the owner, and now the system is in stable operation with good equipment status.

 

The project covers an area of 95100m? with annual production of 4.633 million t product sinter, after commissioning, the owner’s BF burden design will be optimized, the plant area resource utilization ratio will be increased and the plant area flue gas pollutant emission condition will be improved. The owner party agrees unanimously that the project technology is advanced, the quality is reliable and the system is high efficient, energy saving and environmental friendly.
