On Jan 24, the Zhuhai Jiayu pellet turnkey project undertaken by CIE went into operation, the design capacity of the pellet plant is 1,200,000 t pellet per year. From formal excavation of foundation trench on Mar 15, 2007 to official commissioning and output of qualified product pellet on Jan 14, 2008, it took CIE 300 days to satisfactorily complete all the construction work within a tense working period, and it has won unanimous recognitions of local government and the Owner.

On Oct 24, 2007, the Brazil director of Zhuhai Jiayu mineral product company, the managing (executive) vice president of Brazil CVRD company and CEO Matthews of ironmaking department and their party visited the construction site of the turnkey project, they were very satisfied with the development condition of construction site, and they stated that the cooperation this time would lay a foundation for future wider cooperation between both parties.

In this project, CIE adopted mature process of grate-kiln which is advanced in the world, and they also adopted more than ten patents and proprietary technologies for which we own intellectual property rights.
