On Jan 13, a group of four people including the CEO of Citic Pacific Ltd. Mr. Barry paid a visit to CIE, both parties had friendly consultation on related problems of the west Australian 6 million t pellet EP project of CIE, and they finally came to a mutual agreement.

CIE introduced the present execution condition of the project and proposed existing problems in design and equipment procurement schedule. After the discussion of both parties on concrete problems, the CEO of Citic Pacific Ltd. Mr. Barry showed their full confidence to Zhongye Changtian for constructing the pellet plant. The vice general manager of Zhongye Changtian Chen Shaohua expressed that CIE would closely cooperate with the owner in all aspects to work well on the West Australia project.

The West Australian SINO iron ore EP project contracted by CIE is located in Northwest of Australia, after the project is completed, the production scale will be 24 million t concentrate fines and 6million t pellets, all the product will be sold to China. The 6 million t pellet project contracted by CIE in EP form covers a complete grate-kiln process production line from incoming of concentrate into the pelletizing plant to pellet product output, including the main process line and its auxiliary facilities.
