At 12:16 pm on Jun 2, Phase 1 project of Pansteel New Steel & Vanadium Co. Ltd sintering system reconstruction project was put into production smoothly. The 360㎡sinter machine is the biggest sinter machine now in the south west area of China. It is known that the system process flow, equipment selection and automatic control level have all reached the advanced level in the country, after completion of the project, the sinter utilization can be up to 1.3t/㎡h to form an annual capacity of 3.936 million t sinter. At the same time, the sinter strength, particle size and sinter composition will be improved significantly, the sulfur dioxide and flue gas dust emission concentration will be decreased substantially, the desulphurization efficiency can be up over 85%, and the annual total emission of the sulfur dioxide can be decreased by 12000 t.
