Since the signing of general contract of beneficiation project of Baima iron mine phase 2 project on Jul 19, CIE again has achieved a success once again that, on Aug 30, it signed a general contract of deep copper ore and lava iron ore beneficiation of Dahongshan iron ore mine expansion project beneficiation system with Dahongshan Mining Co. Ltd of Kunsteel. It is understood that the designed capacity of lava iron ore is 3,800,000 t/a, the designed capacity of deep copper ore is 1,500,000 t/a, and they are planned to be completed in Oct, 2010 and Feb, 2011 respectively.

The general project of deep copper ore and lava iron ore beneficiation of Dahongshan iron ore mine expansion project beneficiation system is of a salvageable resources development project, the biggest semiautogenous mill and ball mill in metallurgical mines projects are used, the equipment level and electrical and automation control level is high. The project construction site is narrow, the two beneficiation series should be planned as a whole, at the same time, it is difficult for raw material transportation, and the construction period is tight, but CIE will continue adhere to the principle of elaborate design, scientific management and sincere service to create an excellent project for the Owner.
