On Apr 10, Shanghai Meishan Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. presented  Zhongye Changtian with a gift of a memorial prize bottle carved with “ excellent technology, scientific management and quality service”, expressing their thanks to Zhongye Changtian for their contributions in Meisteel No.4 400㎡sinter machine relocation reconstruction project. The president of Zhongye Changtian Yi Shuguang took over the memorial bottle form the general manager of Meisteel Liu Daide.

The No.4 400㎡sinter machine project undertaken by Zhongye Changtian is the biggest EPC project in China now. The project was commenced officially in Apr, 2008, it lasted 13 months and was completed on May 9. 2009. The sintering project with annual capacity of 4.1 million ton of product sinter is a turnkey project being tried first in international construction mode, it is also the important auxiliary project for Meisteel to adjust product structure and upgrade process equipment for the existing process system and increase the pig iron production capacity by 3.5 million ton. About 30 patents and proprietary technologies (knowhows) of which Zhongye Changtian owns complete proprietary intellectual property rights are adopted for the project, many of which have reached the world advanced level. On May 13, 2009, the project reached the standards and production capacity smoothly, playing important role in increasing Meisteel production level before ironmaking, reducing comprehensive energy consumption, improving comprehensive utilization rate of resources and promoting energy saving and emission reduction”.

In the gift presentation ceremony, Liu Daide expressed that the project construction time is short and the quality is good, and the operation has been good since it has been put into production for one year, the project fully showed “the domestic leading design level and management “ of Zhongye Changtian, he also hoped that both parties will continue to have extensive cooperation based on this.
