On Oct 2022, “the 8th national sintering and pelletizing equipment technology seminar”jointly organized by MCC (Metallurgical Construction Group of China) sintering, pelletizing and direct reduction technology center and the national sintering and pelletizing information network of CIE was held in Boao of Hainan province.  102 Representatives from over 50 units in the country attended the meeting. The leaders and technical personnel from sintering and pelletizing plants of the national main I & S enterprises, the local key I & S enterprises and privatelyrun I & S enterprises, the experts and professors from key universities and colleges of metallurgical industry in the country and leaders and technical personnel from a part of sintering and pelletizing equipment manufacturers attended the meeting.

The main task of the meeting is to exchange technology development of energysaving equipment, environmental equipment and control equipment for sintering and pelletizing in the past year, and to discuss and exchange research and development of sintering and pelletizing equipment at home and abroad and development of its manufacturing technology.

About 60 papers were received for the meeting, of which 49 papers were compiled into the conference proceedings for publication in hardcover as the special supplement to the periodical of 《sintering and pelletizing》, and of which 10 papers were rated as excellent papers of the meeting.
