On Jul 26, CIE signed he EPC project contract for technical modification (phase three) project of Pangangfan sintering system with Panzhihua Steel and Vanadium Co., Ltd of Pangang Group. The president of CIE Yishuguang and the general manager of CIE Heguoqiang and other leaders of CIE etc. attended the signing ceremony. The vice general manager of Panggangfan Wangshujun and vice general manager of CIE Wanggencheng signed the contract on behalf of both parties.

According to the contract, CIE will build a set of sinter machine with effective sintering area of 260㎡, sintering productivity of 1.3t/㎡•h and annual sinter production capacity of 2,842,400 ton. After the project is completed, Pangangfan sintering system equipment level, sinter production capacity, environmental quality, energy saving and emission reduction will all be raised to a new level. Based on this, Pangangfan not only can completely get rid of long term dependence on purchasing foreign pellets and better meet the high strength metallurgy requirements of blast furnace, but also can further optimize the burden design, reduce production cost and provide important support for Panggangfan to keep its competitive advantages.
