Baosteel large scale sintering project is put into production
On Nov.13 of 2013, the sintering system energy saving and comprehensive environmental reconstruction project of Baosteel Co., Ltd was put into production smoothly, and CIE was responsible for the design of the project and supply of major equipment like sinter machine and new type of liquid seal circular cooler etc. The general manager of CIE He Guoqiang attended the commissioning ceremony.
Due to early production, long service time and heavy production task etc., the equipment status of the three existing sinter machines of Baosteel Co., Ltd. was deteriorating, there was a gap between their auxiliary energy saving and emission reduction technologies and the current advanced energy saving and emission reduction technologies. In order to promote the sintering process competitiveness of Baosteel Co., Ltd., and conduct upgrading and reconstruction of energy saving and emission reduction technologies, the Baosteel Co., Ltd decided to implement the energy saving and comprehensive environmental reconstruction project of sintering system, that is, to construct a 600㎡sinter machine and its auxiliary environmental facilities.
During the implementation process of the project, in order to reasonably arrange the extra large sinter machine in limited general layout, to avoid the influence of the engineering construction on normal production operation of Baosteel, and to ensure smooth implementation of the principle “not increasing total number of sinter machines and paying attention to energy saving and environmental protection to realize the maximum social environment and economic benefits, CIE cooperated closely with Baosteel sintering project group from feasibility demonstration, preliminary design to construction drawing design, procurement document preparation and site service, determining the process design with advanced technology, mature process and reasonable economy and equipment selection; At the same time, CIE carried out design optimization based on ensuring drawing delivery schedule, strongly guaranteeing the effective control of project progress, quality and cost.
This project is another key project of energy saving and emission reduction and industry upgrading in Baosteel “the 12th fiveyear plan” after the “upgrading and comprehensive reconstruction project of coke oven system”. The smooth commissioning of the project not only helps to solve the selfdevelopment bottleneck problem of Baosteel sintering process, but also will optimize BF burden structure, improve energy consumption and current emission situation of iron area and reduce the production operation cost of ironmaking plant.
