The main part of Hansteel sintering dust pollution control project undertaken by CIE is completed
On May 2, the main part of Hansteel sintering No.1 transfer station dust pollution control EPC project undertaken by CIE was smoothly completed. The mixer of Hansteel 265m2 sinter machine was put into use in year 2011, as the dust at the feed end of mixer is serious since its commissioning, the plant environment (the post dust concentration) cannot meet the national emission standard. The implementation scheme for this pollution control is as follows: the gases from all dust sources are merged and sent into two sets of high efficient dedusters with water bath net by dedusting pipe and then they are discharged through stack. The control technology of quicklimecontaining dust and steamcontaining high viscous dust independently developed by CIE is adopted to ensure longterm and high efficient stable operation of the dedusting system. After the project is completed, the production and working environment in the plant area will be improved remarkably, and the dust emission will be reduced.
At present, the equipment for the project is being manufactured, and it is predicted that the equipment will be delivered and access the site in early May, and the equipment installation will be started then.
