CIE signs the RMC project contract of Bensteel 360m? sintering waste heat utilization

On May 7, a wholly owned subsidiary of CIE Hunan Zhongye Changtian Energy Conservation and Environment Protection Technology Co. , Ltd. signed the contract for the EMC project of 360 sintering waste heat utilization with Bengang Steel Plates Company limited (hereinafter referred as Bensteel).

In the project, the waste gas heat of circular cooler is utilized to produce superheated steam of high and low parameters, and then steam will be used for power generation through steam turbine generator unit, thus the waste heat of sintering cooler is fully utilized. The 15 megawatt lower temperature waste heat power generation station will be built for the project, and a series of advanced technologies and products independently developed by CIE are adopted for the process design, including the directly connected furnace hood type cooler, fan series technology, cyclic utilization of waste gas, cyclic utilization of equipment cooling water and comprehensive utilization of slag to control the pollution source. Through the implementation of the project, the waste gas heat will be fully recovered, and the same time the pollutants will be eliminated in the process as far as possible, and the pollutant emission will be reduced.

It is planned that the project will be completed in May of 2016, and it is predicted that, after the project is completed and put into production, the annual electricity supply will be 54.446 million kilowatthour, the annual external supply of low pressure steam will be 64,848t, and 25,560t standard coal will be saved annually, which means 63,900t carbon dioxide emission is reduced annually. All the electricity generated in the project is consumed in the company, which mitigates the supply and demand problem of production electricity consumption, reduces the cost and brings substantial economic benefits and environmental benefits.
