Baosteel Zhanjiang No.1 sinter machine project has been put into production
On Aug 25th, No.1 sinter machine for the two sets of 550m2 large scale energy saving environmental sinter machine project of in which CIE is responsible for the design and a complete set of equipment supply was put into production officially.
A series of patent and proprietary technologies and technical equipment independently developed by CIE have been adopted for the No.1 sinter machine commissioned this time; With the adopted comprehensive seal technology of the sinter machine, the air leakage rate can be controlled below 25%, which is far below the air leakage rate of the conventional seal technology. The reduction of air volume of the main exhauster saves over 10% electricity; The reduction of flue gas emission lowers the treatment cost of flue gas cleaning system. The adopted new type of liquid seal circular cooler reduces the cooling air volume by over 25%, 1.65kwh electricity can be saved for production of per ton of product sinter. Meanwhile a series of patent and proprietary technologies and technical equipment independently developed by CIE have been adopted for the sintering waste gas power generation and flue gas cleaning projects, including high efficient comprehensive utilization of sintering waste heat, directly connected hood type waste heat boiler and active carbon flue gas cleaning etc.
It is planned that the No.2 sinter machine will be put into production on May 15th of 2016, when the two sets of 550m2 sinter machine will form the annual production capacity of 12.26 million ton product sinter, after the completion of the project, it will become one of the most advanced large scale energy saving and environmental sintering project domestically.
