CIE undertakes Anyang Steel sintering flue gas recirculation project
On Oct 9, CIE and Anyang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred as “Anyang Steel) officially signed the design contract for No.1 sinter machine reconstruction sintering flue gas recirculation project , indicating that the industrial application of the flue gas recirculation system independently developed by CIE will be realized.
The sintering flue gas recirculation technology includes internal recirculation process and external recirculation process in accordance with different air intake position, the technology can not only reduce the total waste gas emission and pollutant emission of sintering process, but also it can reduce the cost and operation cost of sintering flue gas treatment facilities (dedusting, desulphurization and denitration), and it can as well as recover and utilize the waste heat of the sintering flue gas and reducing the energy consumption of the sintering process, and it is an advanced energy saving and emission reduction green clean production technology. After many years of exploration, CIE has formed its own characteristics, and it owns many patent technologies for the flue gas recirculation technology, the technology is based on the balance of flue gas amount and oxygen content, the sintering flue gas and hot waste gas from the circular cooler are fully mixed in the mixing device, with the negative pressure recirculation flue gas hood, the circulated flue gas can all be used for sintering production, and the energy saving and emission reduction and production increase effects are remarkable with broad market prospect.
The Anyang Steel No.1 sinter machine reconstruction flue gas recirculation project is one of the 12 technical modification projects of Anyang Steel in year 2015, it mainly aims at increasing the sinter output and quality, reducing solid fuel consumption, perfecting the sintering process, improving the economic benefits and realizing energy saving and consumption reducing. CIE will adopt internal recirculation process of flue gas in design, it is predicted that flue gas emission can be reduced by 25%, and about 2.3kg solid fuel consumption can be reduced for per ton of sinter.
