The No.2 sinter machine project for the Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corp sintering project undertaken is put into production

On Apr 19, the No.2 sinter machine project for the 2×500㎡sintering EP project of Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corp undertaken by CIE was put into production successfully.

As a newlybuilt important subproject of integrated iron and steel enterprise in Vietnam with 10million ton capacity invested by Formosa Plastics Group (Corporation), this project is the first supersized metallurgical sintering general contracting project constructed by Chinese company in Southeast Asia region. The project is contracted by CIE in EP mode (EngineeringProcurement), and CIE is responsible for the factory design, major equipment supply and training.

The No.2 sinter machine of the two sinter machines is put into production this time, the rest No.1 sinter machine and the whole plant will be put into production in March of 2017. The project capacity is big, the equipment technology level is high, and the energy saving and environmental indexes are good. In accordance with the sintering characteristics of the limonite as the major ironbearing materials, the measures for preheating the sintering materials before ignition are adopted; Deep bed sintering process is adopted in order to improve the sinter quality; Waste heat recovery is carried out for the hot waste gas from circular cooler for the sake of energy saving and environmental protection. Tens of knowhow and proprietary technologies of CIE with complete proprietary intellectual property rights have been adopted, of which the L2 integrated sintering control expert system, the liquid seal circular cooler, the flexible drive and the segregated distributer (feeder) etc. have reached the world advanced technology level.
