A general contract on Phase II doublechamberverticalfurnace project with 600 ton daily has been concluded and signed by CIE EP and Yangzhou Hengrun Marine Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yangzhou Hengrun Marine Heavy Industry) on March 30.
Two lime double-chamber-vertical-furnaces with 600 ton daily in the general contract on Phase I had been built by the main contractor CIE EP, which is the first domestic lime doublechamberverticalfurnace burning coal with fully independent intellectual property. After into operation, the finished lime can have more than 380 milliliters of activity degree, more than 3% overburning rate of calcined lime, more than 92% finished calcium oxide content and 820 kcal/kg lime of unit energy consumption, whose all key indicators have come up to the advanced domestic standards.
On this basis meeting the development demand, Yangzhou Hengrun Marine Heavy Industry planned to start its Phase II project once more to build a doublechamberverticalfurnace project with 600 ton daily and take the low heating value converter gas of 1000 kcal/standard cubic meters as its fuel. As one of the current international advanced lime calciners, the doublechamberverticalfurnace has two vertical chambers connected by two connecting channels at the lower middle part of the furnace body. The doublechamberverticalfurnace boasts its parallel flow and heat accumulation featuring uniform supply of heat, good heat insulation property of furnace body, fully using fluegas heat, high heat efficiency and obvious energy conservation and environmental protection benefit. In general, the furnace type usually adopts high performance fuel, but its hearth and connecting channel should be enlarged as using low thermal value gas, therefore, the structural performance of the whole equipment should be up to a higher level.
CIE shall be responsible for the plant design, equipment supply and installation of the project, which project expects to do trial run and go into operation by the end of 2017.
