It is on May 3, 2018 that the flue gas desulphurization desulfurization project including No. 1, 2 and 3 sintering machines of Anyang Iron and Steel Incorporated Company designed by CIE??s EPC has put into operation, marking that onetime environmental protection upgrading and transformation in the field of flue gas cleaning on iron and steel and metallurgical sintering has put into full operation in China.  

 

It was in the beginning of 2017 that Anyang Iron and Steel gave an active respond to national environmental policies by decisively upgrading and renovating one 500?O of and two 360?O of sintering machines, while it also onetime eliminated its original wet desulfurization devices up to 3 sintering machines and adopted an activated carbon  technology of flue gas purification at current international advanced level,  a deep purification technology for flue gas removing sulfur, nitrate, dioxin, heavy metal, dust and other pollutants to realize a resource of its byproducts cooperating with domestic relevant units, which has been used at Baosteel Zhanjiang Base and Baosteel headquarters with a leading level in the world of various technical indexes. The project is not only related to whether Anyang Iron and Steel can win the key project on the tough environmental protection battle, but also the biggest environment protection protect in the field of flue gas cleaning on iron and steel so far.
