On April 22, CIE signed the Contract for EPC project of Cancer Hospital Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (Langfang Center), which is another major medical and health care project that CIE participated in following the EPC project of the Fifth Xiangya Hospital of Central South University in Hunan Province and the design project of Rehabilitation Center (Campus A and B) under Civil Affairs Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality.

This project is the first listed project for the pilot of regional medical centers in the "Healthy China Strategy" region implemented by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC ) and National Energy Administration (NEA), Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and Ministry of Finance, PRC (MFPRC), the first hospital project with proton center in North China approved by the National Health and Health Commission, and the first medical and health project in Hebei Province to implement the coordinated development strategy of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and undertake all non-essential functions from Beijing.

The project is positioned as an international first-class and domestic model Grade-A comprehensive cancer hospital featuring cancer diagnosis and treatment, integrating comprehensive medical treatment, prevention and screening, rehabilitation and relief, scientific research and education, and international communication. Upon completion, it will become a cancer clinical research and technical guidance center at home and abroad and a national regional medical center.
