It was in the morning on August 8 that the Fifth Xiangya School of Central South University, one of key people's livelihood projects in Hunan province contracted by CIE, sees its southern branch cap. 

The southern branch of the Fifth Xiangya School covers an area of about 290,000 sq.m. including 10 overground floors and 2 underground floors, which has large single-layer area, large engineering mass and high structural complexity. The southern branch focuses on regional emergency and life emergency centers with complete medical functions and some characteristic medical treatments, which not only can ensure the integrity of the system and independent operation, but also can deal with seamless docking with the second phase of the construction to be a general hospital of third-grade class-A hospital. 

After the completion, the situation of the relative shortage of medical resources in southern Changsha will be completely changed, while the medical treatment system layout in Changsha city can be more reasonable, and the distribution of resources can be more balanced, which will play an important role to alleviate the difficulty of seeing a doctor in the southern Changsha and even in Changzhutan area.
