Recently, Ministry of Housing and UrbanRural Construction made a public announcement that the《Code for design of iron ore pelletizing engineering》was approved as the national standard. This standard was compiled under the auspices of Changtian International Engineering Co. Ltd, MCC and Northern Engineering & Technology Corporation, MCC, it was executed from Dec 12, 2009.

The national standard of 《Code for design of iron ore pelletizing engineering》fills a gap in the design code for domestic pelletizing engineering, after the implementation of the standard, the adoption of new technology, new process, new equipment and new materials in the iron ore pellet production will have positive influences in terms of saving the operation cost of pelletizing plant, improving pellet quality, reducing energy consumption and improving environmental conditions etc., and substantial economic and social benefits will be brought for the enterprises and the society.
